Zomato's feedback!

Ah! Now is the feedback time.
@Zomato: Gimme my pair of mugs, if not ipad. (Lemme see if I’ll get that promised “assured gift!”)
3 things I like are :

1.      Amazing Marketing
Zomato has this amazing marketing team. Trust me! You’ll find some creative ideas floating here and there and some repartee as well. Look at the company’s name, if in doubt. Isn’t it rhyming with this luscious tomato!
It’s great to get the feedback of end-user before doing a major re-vamp.
Screen-shot time:

2. Metros and other tier-1 cities captured

Zomato has this great presence and captures information regularly and update its database every 3 months (as mentioned by its official blog)

Further classification is based for specific location within the city as well as alphabetical order! Look for yourself:

3.      Highly technophile
Everyone uses Facebook, Twitter to promote themselves; but definitely Zomato is doing it better. It’s having its own app in Chrome store as well for all major smart phone platforms and boasts of  free “The” Zomato API. Catches attention easily and holds it, in this ADD (for the benefit of the reader, it’s Attention Deficit Disorder) world! Kudos to the creative team @ Zomato!

Now it’s the time for the 3 points where improvement is required!
1.      Guess googly by google analytics
The page was certainly not in Malay!! It happened not once but repeatedly.
And then there are some other technical glitches as well. So am expecting post upgrade this won’t be the case.

2.      Spread the wings to cover more cities
Zomato would be of great help if spread to further cities. Now am from Baroda, would be delighted to see Zomato creating a page for Vadodara! Am pretty sure this would be in pipeline and Zomato’s team would not want this as a feedback, but hey am pitching for Baroda, dint you notice
J
                               Missing Baroda here!

3.      Cocktail section is an underachiever
Though cocktail recipes are not required here but if you're doing it, do it nicely. Should say it can accommodate a lot more, suffering from malnutrition, definitely.

Only 6 cocktails are listed, leaving behind some of the trendiest. No wonder, no tweets. At least some other resources could have been added.

Wrongs of assumptions, and presumptions

Wrongs of assumptions and presumptions can not be undone. So when should we be doing profiling/ classification when not?
Give me pointers.

To be an MBA or not to be an MBA?!

Now I can say this is one of the most controversial and scandalous of all questions! And am a really poor mortal getting confused about the same. (Why do you think the blog is titled this way, huh)
MBA is lucrative but is it worth the "fees" is the question that haunts my mind forever.
I really don't have that kind of money and again am a vegetable with no spine to beg or to steal! Only borrow remains the option, and boy-oh-boy am telling you this is not-so-feasible an option!Just now was checking out http://bschool.nus.edu/TheNUSMBA/ProspectiveStudents/TheNUSMBA/Admission/FinancingyourMBA/FinancialAid/tabid/2280/default.aspx
Did you see that?! "The applicant must be a Singaporean or Singapore PR."
Hurts, isn't it.
So am waiting for that "am feeling lucky" kinda feeling and only then will delve into "doing" MBA. Till the time software engineering is my vocation.
